I had an excellent TFP photo session with Statesider, Mayhem #257794 .  And I need your help to pick 5 photos.  I need you to help me choose.

Deal was, Statesider makes 5 images available, all spruced up, air brushed and in their full massive original glory, without watermarks.

I asked my girl which ones she liked, and then I ran those pictures by a small focus group.  And then I took a long hard look.  And I'm still stumped.  Now, I turn to your wisdom.

HELP!

I must add.  I'm so thrilled I had the opportunity to work with Statesider.  He is a master of lighting, mood, pose, props, and capturing so many different facets of my personality.  If you have an opportunity to work with Statesider -- do it.

Killer LinkedIn profile pictures, also great for my Central Casting and Marinella Hume Casting accounts.

This should be used as a basis for a classical portrait. Just add a winery in the background.

Would you believe it, I'm headlining a classical music concert at the Kennedy Center with these?  Excellent images.

This one is worthy of the National Portrait Gallery or the lobby of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, LLP, and must be printed 12 feet high.

This one should go in the grand entrance to Biltmore in Ashville, NC.  Any billionaire, who doesn't book Statesider and copy this pose and lighting is a fool.

I'll need to hire an artist for, and have them paint a 9' x 9' oil painting from it.  Will go on the staircase wall of my 1770 mansion.

Is this a good call for my Mayhem profile?

Now THAT is a movie star right there ladies and gents.  Either that, or I'm the NY Times best-selling author.  You may buy my award winning "Treatise on Disestablishmentarianist Modeling Post-Anti-Subculture" for the low, low price of $79.99.

Justin Wright 12000 together with Andre 3000.  That right there is a cover for the Christmas CD special.

Look out Jimmy Fallon, Jay Leno and Amy Schumer, here comes Justin Wright.  Both are perfect for my standup comedy posters at the brand spanking new MGM casino.

Did you say I'd be a fool not to use it in my Match.com profile?

One part Justin Wright, one part Daniel Craig, and we have ourselves the next Bond blockbuster.

The answer to this question depends on what you're trying to accomplish. If you want five shots to print and put in a frame for your mom, that's one thing. If you want to get the maximum diversity in your portfolio, that's another thing. As your captions show, each picture would work for something different. The question is what do you need for your purposes?

Trying to be as general as possible, I'll make a few comments.

I'd probably pick one of the first two as a good, all-around portrait. Of the two, I think I like the first one best, but sometimes I change my mind.

The third one doesn't seem all that great to me, but I'll admit to being a better judge of female photos than male photos. The one advantage is that the third one is a full-body shot.

The fourth and fifth ones are about the same. Because you already have open-mouth smiles in the portrait and in other photos down the line, I'd probably go for the more closed-mouth smile of the fifth one. (If you are just printing five shots for your mom, I'd reverse this decision.)

I like the sixth one, but I'm not sure that it gains you anything.

In the seventh one, you have a serious expression that works well, and this image shows your entire body while standing. I don't like the chest-level wrinkles in your shirt, but maybe that's part of some style that I don't know.

The eighth one seems a bit over-theatrical to me.

The ninth one is pretty good, and the serious expression works better.

The tenth one is a good profile avatar. The half-lit, half-dark face works well. The shot is dramatic, but you have a nice smile that makes the image even more interesting with the drama.

The eleventh one is okay. If you are trying to show that you can mimic the best-selling author, that one works. I'm just not sure whether you are going for mimicry.

The twelfth one looks exactly like the cover a Christmas CD special. I like the image. I'm just not sure what you're trying to do with your images.

The thirteenth one looks very natural. Given your creative captions on your photos, the thirteenth one seems like a natural capture of who you are. In your writing, you radiate a positive vibe, and this photo captures that vibe very well.

The fourteenth one also captures that positive vibe, but I don't know whether you need two photos that are so similar in feel.

The fifteenth is great, but I'm not sure where it fits for your needs. Instead of a profile picture for a Match.com profile, I see this one as either the front or back cover of your best-selling motivational book. I could also see this as the poster at the entrance to the auditorium where you're giving your next lecture. "Laugh, cry, and grow! Justin Wright speaks here tonight!"

The sixteenth is another great image. If you are trying to show that you can model as the serious man of action, this one works. This one doesn't look as much like mimicry as some of the others do.

How about these?

Sorry, but they look like prom pictures to me. Or maybe for a magician's headshot.

Just pick one as a portrait. They are so similar, that you don't need more, and it really doesn't matter which..

My apologies for being so harsh, but it's Sears portrait studio quality.
