Hi all!

I would love to hear some open and honest feedback and critique on my work and portfolio.

I've always been into photography, though started to take it a little more seriously around 1 year ago, and got into some studio and model photoshoots.

My main inspiration originated from my wife's face-painting and my love of colourful vibrant images. I experimented with some shots based around this (though finding models in Oslo is sometimes hard work), and soon progressed onto some artistic nude shoots after some travelling models were in town for reasonable rates.

I really enjoy both studio and outdoor work, and would love to get into more bodypaint work. I do often find that the poor feedback from models, however, mixed with limited outlets for my work can feel a little deflating.

I'd therefore love to know what other models and photographers with the time to review and respond think of my work.

Appreciate your time and thanks in advance! Craig

Think long lovely fingers, her fingers are so tightly clenched the finger tips are changing color.
To flatter a person, as in this case arch their back and lean them forward, bring her chin down [You can accomplish some of the effect by rotating photo clockwise a bit, make a print try rotating see if you can see the change.]

Quick way to thin models hips is to place her hips on angle to camera, with that much arm showing would be great to see her hands too
Adjust shirt to reduce wrinkles by arm pits
Add more light to shadow side of face by using a reflector
Background blown out

Models left arm too straight and stiff
Adjusted pose: Roll models left shoulder down and back, this will open up neck more and add dynamics

Cute photo, move models left elbow out to side so it is not pointing at camera

Using a shirt with out logos or art work is less distracting; instead of shoving the hand in her pocket just gently hook a thumb on the pocket
Raise chin up a bit to reduce appearance of double chin

Move hair behind models right shoulder to open up neck [body language, an open neck produces a friendly look] logo on hat is distracting, rotate hat so it does not show

Raise camera up and tilt head so we are not looking up his nose, with short hair best to show one ear [Simply rotate head a bit]

This image is one of of your best, using a rim light on photo left would help separate models head from background

I wish you well
