Hi!
Although I have been an amateur photographer for some years, I haven't had many shoots with models, just the ones in my portfolio with a couple of friends. Any critique and advice please?

Two lovely models caught well. Watch out for side light picking up and emphasizing wrinkles and powder makeup.

Keep up the good work and good for you for photographing models older than in their 20's

not sure if you cut them off when shooting or if you cropped them to tight for my comfort level but i would include some hair on top of the forehead.

compare the three you have displayed cut in the forehead to all the others you have with upper hair line included and see which have a better overall feel to them.

Sorry for my late reply and thanks for your critique, David.

Your are completely right. It is a mistake I make too often. I always try to frame the model too tight instead of leaving some space and when I check all the pictures I realise I cut too many hands and foreheads, usually in the best ones.

I have to work on it smile
