8MB SmartMedia card included with a Toshiba point and shoot camera. I then bought a 32MB memory card. A few weeks later I spent $50 on a 64MB SmartMedia card and that ish was lux.

My first memory card was a 32Mb Olympus xD. At the time, I thought I'd never need that much space, but being a guy, bigger is always better.

My first computer hard drive was 20Mb. Got it thinking "how can anyone fill up a drive this big?" hmm

Earliest Digital memory card was the Sony Memory Stick Pro. it was used on my foray into the digital world in 2004 with the Sony V3. It also too CF (type1) cards which I had a couple of.

Before that it was 35mm film and transparency (slides) that I would scan on a Minolta film scanner.

I found a memory card circa 2004 in a box of stuff I was cleaning out to move.

Pretty sure it belonged to my ex, several exes ago.

First digital I used was an old Sony that wrote directly to a 3.5 in floppy (1.4Mb) and it held about 20 images. Now it would take 20 floppy disks to hold ONE image. Such id progress.

I never owned one, but I remember when sony made a camera that saved directly to a built-in 3.5” floppy drive. A whopping 1.4mb!

The first digital camera I used was a Sony Mavica with a 3.5" floppy drive built in.
The first digital camera I bought(for the company I worked for) was a canon Powershot G1 that came with an 8MP CF card if I remember correctly. Since it was the company's money though, I bought a 1GB IBM Microdrive  for it. I think the Microdrive cost $500 and the camera itself only cost about $800. Everyone always said those things were too delicate. The one I had got thoroughly abused and was still working when it got stolen along with a Canon 20D about 6 years later.
