MID CITY ART CONTEST

The Mid City Neighborhood Council (MINC) is sponsoring an Art Contest for all artists of any age …….drawings, painting, mixed media and photography.  25 winners will be selected for street banners on Washington Blvd in Mid City. The artwork will be visible for the next 3 years as public art and a wonderful showcase of local talent.  The art contest will be judged by
Ami Motevalli, director of the William Grant Still Art Foundation,  Melina Abdullah, co-founder of Black Lives Matter, Jacqueline Alexander-Sykes, director of St Elmo Village,  just to name a few.  The Art Contest celebrates Black History Month.
