Hello!

I'm new and just looking for some quick insight as to what's more eye-catching as an avatar: my current headshot, or the body picture I have in my portfolio.

Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

I think the headshot works better, but it looks a little bit like a mug shot.

I feel the one of you in "all black" with the head tilt and the arms and hands stacked one above the other makes for the best profile shot. The poses are "male only" , not female, and while I am not sure what your objective is I think it would be the best demonstration of a male pose  for someone looking for a male model for male clothing . I would lighten up the background though. Forget the head or body shot question. It's what's the best physique for a male model.
