On April 30th, Ron Galella died at 91.

He was a famous photographer known as the pioneer of modern paparazzi photography.

He personified the paparazzi —  he was brazen and relentless in chasing the famous, particularly Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. But his pictures also came to be admired.

The Stories Behind the Pictures

It took me a while to realize that there is a video along with the text explaining every picture.

I'm intrigued that the technical quality of some of Galella's favorite images are not the best.
