Deep agency: AI-generated models
Mar 09 23 07:17 pm Link Inevitable. There will still be models and photographers. There will even be DSLRs for a good while yet. Just a hobby for me anyway... Mar 09 23 09:42 pm Link Kids in their moms basement have been looking at these for a minute 🤙🤣🤣 Mar 10 23 03:13 am Link Shadow Dancer wrote: There will even be film for a good while. Mar 10 23 05:06 am Link The word copyright seems to be missing from that advert. Mar 10 23 08:51 am Link Some of the images on their site are quite impressive Mar 11 23 07:13 am Link j_francis_imagery wrote: Strawberry Fields Forever. Even more relevant, the US Copyright Agency recently ruled that AI generated images do not qualify for copyright protection. Mar 12 23 04:51 pm Link As long as some people enjoy posing and others enjoy shooting, there will be models and photographers. Will they be able to make a living at it anymore? Debatable. May 21 23 12:49 pm Link They may well just sell the software with a license meaning companies would have an endless supply of model pictures. To me the way to tackle this is to attack the angle of providing impossible unachievable goals because if the models aren't even real they will be damaging to people because it provides role models that don't even exist. Perhaps the way ahead is to sell the aspect of flawed models: the human qualities. Favour models with scars or flaws. May 21 23 04:36 pm Link as a photographer ironically i actually find ai generated tools fantastic. for me it helps me visualize what i would like to do. i do NOT think (anytime soon anyways) that ai will replace actual models. for example runway models just cant yet be replaced by ai lol. and a lot of companies still prefer a physical human being to interact with as a model or would be model who is intimidated by this dont be. for me generating ai images just inspires me of what i want to do in real life with the right connections (its been tough as i have a disability) but hopefully NOT replace it lol i dont think ai will destroy real models nor will it destroy real art /photography (in FACT photoshop just added ai tools to its beta which i think is great. im having fun taking actual photos i have done and editing them with ai in cool ways) ai can also be great for education, research , visual conception. etc . for me the ai generated images i made when i finally do connect with a model or would be model and want to do a photoshoot i can show them exactly what i have in mind :-) (i have done real images too. all of my images in my profile are real not ai lol) but yeah. i think people fear often what they dont understand so dont be afraid of ai! May 25 23 06:36 am Link Every AI image I see, of models, is easily identifiable. It isn't good enough YET, to fool me.
