Does anyone else have, or use one of these?

These sometimes appear in ebay listings, but not very often because the number produced was not large. The Courtenay Type 101 is very similar in general design. These are mains powered flash meters which use a photomultiplier to measure the quantity of light energy.

This example of the Courtenay Type 202 for sale on ebay is missing the mains lead. This model appears to have the photomultiplier tube built into the main unit instead of a probe as in the Type 101, unless it uses a different type of detector.
