Someone recommended I have some of this stuff handy for removing oil/shine spots during shoots. (Specifically the loose powder form.)

Thought it was worth checking into, but NOT being a stylist figured it'd be worth asking about.

*ducks*

Be gentle?

I just bought some, and used it on a bunch of my sisters friends going to prom.  They said the makeup lasted great.  In all their pictures they look lovely, even dancing ones.  All the guys they were with look shiny.  I took that as a good sign.

Always have blotting sheets too...to use in between powder to de-shine.  It helps a lot...keeps you from over -powdering the face which makes it CAKEY.

Palladio Rice Powder is what I use:  http://www.adiscountbeauty.com/page332.html  - you don't have to get it here on this site though.

I agree. I also use Palladio and it works very nicely. I get mine at a local Sallys Beauty Supply.

Just ordered the blotting papers.. As I'm not looking to try to apply makeup (I don't even want to think of the horror of the results).. Just have something quick and handy that will make shine go away if it threatens to ruin a shot..

Thanks again..
