January 03, 2010 11:51am Well, the car is not so ordinary here in germany, where a Lexus IS 250 isn't owned that much and where we lack of some of the fancy cars of the US (current and old ones) ;)
A black background would have missed the story.
January 03, 2010 10:47am The color, pose, composition, and motion-capture of the model in this photo is absolutely perfect! She appears to possess superhuman speed. The background is a bit lacking; the car is ordinary and doesn't compose well with the model, and the darkness behind the car covers too much of the picture. It's a WOW photo where the model is concerned, but I would prefer to see her against a pure black (or another appropriate color) backdrop. Still makes it onto my killer photo list - EXCELLENT motion capture. The embodiment of speed in the model overwhelms all other concerns.
