August 11, 2008 10:44am This is an amazing piece-in part because of all of the conversation and commentary it's generating: in my opion art is made not solely as a point of beauty but to make viewers think and discuss. The image itself is wonderfully executed; brilliant pose coupled with the b&w as well as a location some may find offesive but I personally find an honor of sorts, a way of rememembering those who are lost to us without being disrespectful or cliche. Bravo!

but in regards to other peoples comments, stop treating dead people like they are alive. there's no ghost thats getting mad about this, or any little girl thats getting hurt from this either. cemetery's are incredibly beautiful and peaceful places. i've spent many nights in them and consider them a nice safe spot when you can't find a place to stay.
