November 05, 2017 4:00pm If you look at the details in this photograph, there's actually a lot going on here, a lot of symbolism. It's a clever commentary on the current state of our politics and the surrealness of our last presidential election. Two (identical) characters on the left and the right battling it out over the chessboard that is our national political process, with a copy of Alice in Wonderland/Through the Looking Glass at the side underscoring how absurd everything has become, and poor sad Eeyore caught in the middle, depressed over the whole mess! When you deconstruct it, this is a very clever tableaux!
