Ahhh, The Big Lebowski. Superb film. Wish the Cohens would get back to work like that again.

I'm so glad that the OP was joking (we hope), 'cause I was about to pwn him as well.

Think "whois", Google, and EXIF data.

But hey, just remember, when he said $1000, it could have been another typo - could have easily been $100.

One thing I have learned in  life.......those who know the least are the ones bragging that they know the most.  Photography is not an ego trip...it is a business and an art.  As for the OP making 1k per month.....ROFLMAO...I make twice that much a week...sometimes a day as a full time photographer and I dont brag about it because anyone who knows business knows good times come and good times go.
To the OP...congrats on getting biz.....but dont take it for granted...bizness comes and bizness goes.......and from the sounds of it.....your ego will do the same thing.

Oh yea...I shoot for 6 agencies if that matters...which to anyone other than me and the agency....it doesnt

As for shooting famous people.....I shoot country music artists for different clubs in the Atlanta area....(happy to email examples).  The names he mentioned mean nothing to me...did he get paid to shoot them like I do or does he simply have the honor of pointing a camera at them for the glory of it?

Interesting how someone who just signed up 6-7 days ago comes in and immediately FLAMES the forums and fellow photographers, for what I can so, no reason..

I would categorize this one as the male version of the "Attention Whore". He is the Attention Pimp..

This was a train wreck right from the beginning.. But something good came out of it, I realized I need to go clean my motorcycle....

Actually in some cases...."NO"  smile however in this case, I would need to buy "Justine Timberlake's" new CD and if I like the music, I may bring him into my circle of friends.

I actually agree with you.  Not being a professional photographer myself, I was recently thinking that I have no business mocking people.  Even though I refrain from personal attacks and insults, sometimes it still feels a little childish.

But then I see some shit like this thread, and I get that warm and fuzzy feeling all over again.

It also occurs to me that the artists he "shot" probably did not give him releases to sell those images; perhaps a few emails to the labels' lawyers are in order.
