Which is a good translucent compact powder for touch ups that i will be able to get hold of in the uk without shipping it in. I used to use the mac blotting one but im not that keen on it really.

Any suggetions?

I've been discovering recently that its actually cheaper to buy from the US and pay shipping than to just buy here!

Not sure about a compact powder though - I've had a few eyeshadows get broken in shipping, I guess compact powder may run into similar difficulties.

Personally I like the NARS compact powders... though I cant remember if they do a colourless one.

Sorry... that wasn't all that helpful really!

I hope you manage to find what you're looking for.

Hehe, cheers for that. I just looked and unfortunatly they dont do a translucent. The reason i dont want to get it shipped in is because i start a film in 3 weeks and i cant rely on the postal to get it here in time!

Ive been told that Maxfactor do a translucent...but i dont know if it will be any good? Anyone tried it?

yaby carries a pressed version of the invisible setting powder as well.  both perform well in setting cream products invisibly and keeping shine down..
